Public Records Request CORA
What is CORA?
"CORA" stands for "Colorado Open Records Act". In the spirit of open government, the Colorado Open Records Act[1] requires that most public records be available to the public. Anyone can request information that is in the possession of our office.
Do I have to submit a CORA request to get information?
A request may not be necessary, as it is our intent to provide documents and information to the public without requiring one. Contact our office to request information from our staff.
How do I ask about CORA requests or submit a request?
Please contact the Department's Administrative Chief if you have a media inquiry or wish to submit a request.
